Middlemen/Mediators for DASA Programme IMPORTANT
Candidates are hereby informed that NITK Surathkal has NOT entrusted/appointed anyone as a mediators or middlemen to either encourage
candidates to apply for DASA programme or to collect fees/commissions guaranteeing the seats. Candidates should not believe anyone who
approaches them promising anything on behalf of NITK Surathkal or DASA office. Contact DASA office for any such attempt by anyone. If
candidates contacting anyone, claiming to be DASA agent, they would be doing so at their own risks and NITK cannot be held responsible for any consequences.
Candidates from Nepal can use IFSC code for transferring money in Rupees
Candidates from Nepal can pay in Indian Rupees (INR) using IFSC code: CORP0000133 and Account No. 013300101049225. Candidates should use SWIFT code only if they are paying in US Dollars. Please pay INR equivalent of the applicable tuition fee (that is equivalent of USD 7250 for non-SAARC or USD 3750 for SAARC candidates). If paying through Demand Draft, please make DDs payable at Mangalore.
Submission of 12th Marks Cards
Candidates may please note that if 12th marks card is already available, they can attach copy along with the hard copy of
the application form. If not available, they can sign the undertaking in the online application form. Note that
the 12th Marks card should be submitted at the time of admission or latest by 15th September 2013 , failing which the provisional admission will be automatically cancelled .
Downloaded Application Form
Downloaded online application form with signature of candidates/parents along with required attachments, and details of tuition fee payment information should be sent by courier/speed post so as to reach DASA office, NITK,Surathkal on or before May 29, 2013.
The complete fee (tuition fee of USD 7000/3500, as the case may be, along with processing fee of USD 250) should be remitted by Electronic payment or sent as Wire transfer/DD to DASA, NITK Surathkal for considering the application. Incomplete or applications without complete fee will not be considered for allotment.
Candidates are advised to login and view their portal periodically after sending the completed application form, to view the status of processing of their application form. These will be updated only after receipt of the documents send by post. They can also view the SAT scores received by DASA office from CollegeBoard directly.
Change of Institute & Course Choices
Candidates are requested to fill in the choices of Institute & Course Choices carefully after consulting
their parents/guardians. Please make sure that the Institute & Course Choices are upto your satisfaction (using the
"Preview" feature) before you submit the online application form. Please note that once the application
form is submitted online, DASA office will not entertain any requests for changes in the choices.
