Age

Only applicants born on or after October 01, 1995 are eligible. Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board / University Certificate [Class X or equivalent] or any certificate issued by the Government authorities only will be taken as authentic.

Academic Eligibility

Applicant must have passed the qualifying examination, i.e. Senior Secondary [10+2] or equivalent [See Appendix I] from any system of education as recognized by the Association of Indian Universities(www.aiuweb.org).
AND

Applicant should have completed successfully Mathematics, Physics and one of the subjects from (Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biology) in 11th AND / OR 12th, as applicable in the respective boards.
AND

Applicant must have secured a minimum of at least 60% aggregate marks (average of all subjects of qualifying examination taken together) or 6.50 CGPA (on a 10 point scale) or equivalent in the qualifying examination. In case, CGPA on a different scale is awarded OR if only grades are awarded, percentage/CGPA equivalence provided by the principal examination authorities will only be considered. Applicants appearing for the qualifying examination with the above-mentioned subjects in the academic year 2019-20 and expecting their final results latest by September 15, 2020 may also apply.
AND

Applicant should have a minimum total valid score of 1800 in SAT Subject Tests (Subjects: Mathematics Level 2, Physics and Chemistry). SAT subject test score has to be sent directly through College Board to NITK Surathkal.

Residential Requirement

All foreign nationals studying in any country including India or Indian nationals studying abroad who fulfill prescribed admission criteria shall be eligible.

Prescribed admission criteria for Indian Nationals shall be at least two years of education, inclusive of 11th & 12th or equivalent (not beyond), in a foreign country during the last 8 years and must pass the qualifying examination from abroad.

Academic Eligibility

Applicants must have passed the qualifying examination i.e. Four/Five year undergraduate programme in Engineering/Technology or equivalent in relevant discipline for M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan./M.Des./MURP and an appropriate UG degree for MBA programme from any stream of education recognized as equivalent by the Association of Indian Universities (www.aiuweb.org) / UGC (www.ugc.ac.in) / AICTE (www.aicte-india.org) / other statutory bodies as applicable.
AND

Must have secured a minimum of at least 60% aggregate marks or 6.50 CGPA on a 10 point scale or equivalent in the qualifying examination. In case, CGPA on a different scale is awarded OR if only grades are awarded, percentage/CGPA equivalence provided by the principal examination authorities will only be considered. Applicants appearing for the qualifying examination in the academic year 2021-22 and expecting their final results latest by September 30, 2021 may also apply. Some M.Tech. Programmes have special conditions for eligibility which are listed on the DASA website www.dasanit.org. The applicant has to check these conditions and he/she will be responsible for satisfying these conditions.
AND

Must have a valid minimum total of 300 GRE Revised General Test Score (Verbal + Quantitative) for eligibility for M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan./M.Des. and minimum of 480 GMAT Test Score for MBA programme. . GRE test score has to be sent directly through ETS to MNIT Jaipur (Institute Code: 7536). GMAT Score is also to be sent directly from GMAC to MNIT Jaipur (Insitute Code: 9MZ). GRE and GMAT test scores received on or before the deadline mentioned in the schedule on DASA website only will be considered for preparation of merit list.

Residential Requirement

Foreign Nationals, PIOs, OCIs who have completed undergraduate programme in any country (including India).
OR

Indian Nationals who have completed their undergraduate programme outside India.
OR

Indian Nationals who have acquired NRI status and holding it for the last three years after obtaining undergraduate degree from India.
OR

Indian Nationals who have completed undergraduate programme in any CFTI under the DASA Scheme.
OR

Indian Nationals who have completed undergraduate programme in India but have completed their 11th and 12th standard (or equivalent) from outside India.

About DASA 2021

From ancient times, India is seen to be an international center for learning. Admission to Foreign Nationals/Persons of Indian Origin/ Non-Resident Indians/Overseas Citizen of India to undergraduate programmes in premier Technical Institutions is being offered under DASA scheme of Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India (earlier known as Ministry of Human Resource Development) since the academic session 2001-02. MoE has entrusted the coordination of the admission process under DASA scheme for the academic year 2021-22 to MNIT Jaipur vide official order (F.No.37-1/2021 – TS.III Dated: 09th Feb 2021).
